About Dr. Brown

Board-certified physiatrist and qualified medical examiner (QME) Melinda Brown, MD, brings more than 15 years of experience in physical medicine and rehabilitation, and pain medicine to RehabOne Medical Group in Los Gatos, San Jose, Gilroy, and Salinas, California.

Dr. Brown began her professional education at Northwestern University in Chicago, Illinois, where she earned her Doctor of Medicine. After graduation, she moved to Columbus, Ohio, and completed residency training at Ohio State University.

In 2004, Dr. Brown relocated to Gilroy and entered private practice. Since 2007, she’s also provided physician services at RehabOne’s functional restoration programs. Dr. Brown joined the team at RehabOne Medical Group in 2011, specializing in the treatment of musculoskeletal injuries and chronic pain. 

Dr. Brown offers a variety of treatment options, including multidisciplinary care and Botox®, trigger point, and peripheral joint injections. She also performs electrodiagnostic studies. 

Dr. Brown has served on the board of directors for the California Society of Industrial Medicine and Surgery. She is also the former vice president and past president-elect of the California Society of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.
