About Dr. Doan

Dr. Loki Doan (aka Vuong) is a California board certified acupuncturist and has been practicing since 2008, when he received his MTCM. In 2017 he completed his Doctorate in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (D.A.O.M.) from Five Branches University.  Dr Doan has 13 years of in-depth clinical experience in the field of acupuncture, traditional Chinese medicine and functional medicine with a specialty in pain and neurological medicine.

His approach to treating patients generally include acupuncture, herbal medicine, qi gong, massage, exercise therapy to improve functional, physical, mental and spiritual well-being.   Dr. Doan is well versed in working with worker’s compensation and functional restoration teams to address pain management and functional restoration.   

Loki has a Master’s in Medical Qi Gong. He went to China in 2008 & in 2010 and was anointed as a Daoist priest within the lineage of the 81st Daoist sect in Longhu (“Dragon and Tiger”) Mountain at the Celestial Master’s Mansion in Southern China’s Jiangxi Province.
